One-to-one nursing tutoring with someone who has actually done the work. We start by finding out what is really going wrong — then we fix that, not everything.
That is usually not the material. It is one of a small number of things: you are memorising where you should be reasoning, you are second-guessing your first instinct on select-all questions, you are losing time on the stem, or there is one foundation topic underneath five others that never quite landed.
Every one of those is fixable in a couple of sessions — but only once someone watches you actually work a question and sees which one it is.
That is what this is for.
What program you are in, what is coming up, what is going wrong. You get an honest recommendation at the end — sometimes that is "start with the $34 system and come back if you are still stuck."
We work through targeted questions live. Not to score you — to see how you reason. You leave with a named weakness and a plan built around your actual test date.
Each session targets what the last one exposed. You get a written recap with three specific actions and an assigned practice block before we meet again.
This section must be filled in before this page goes live. Nobody pays $175 an hour to an unnamed person, and the site currently claims "Real professors" with no bios anywhere to back it.
For each tutor, add: name · credential (RN / BSN / MSN / NP) · years in practice · clinical specialty · where they trained or teach · one sentence on how they teach. A photo helps more than another paragraph.
Example of the shape it should take, so it reads as a person rather than a credential list:
"[Name], MSN, RN — eight years in med-surg at [hospital], four of them precepting new grads. Teaches [subject] at [school]. Works through questions out loud with you rather than lecturing, because the point is to hear how you are thinking."

Sessions run 90 minutes, because travel makes a 60-minute visit uneconomic for both sides — and 90 minutes is genuinely better for working through cases.
Public study locations — libraries, campus study rooms, cafés. Travel outside the three boroughs: +$25.
Mostly two things. We are nursing-specific rather than generalist, and we are in New York — if sitting in a room with someone helps you, that is available. If neither matters to you, an online session at $75 elsewhere may be the right call, and we would rather tell you that than take the money.
No. But if you have them, sessions go further, because we are not spending your hour on material you could have read. The Exam Intensive includes the Complete System for that reason.
Four to six weeks is the sweet spot. Under two weeks we will focus purely on test strategy and your highest-yield gaps — still useful, just a different session.
Usually yes, if your school allows visitors in study spaces. Libraries work well too.
